We believe that if you are going to make a fine piece of furniture, you have to start with fine ingredients.

 

We only use Solid Red Oak and Black Cherry in the construction of our furniture.  Many people are surprised to learn that even cabinet drawers are solid with a dove-tail construction front and back.  We use no veneers or particle boards in the construction of our fine furniture.  We steam-bend all of our chair backs, slats and bent bows.  Pedestal tables have a solid steam bent apron as well.  We do all of our own turnings and have different types of wood lathes for different types of turnings.

 

Since we manufacture what we sell, we can offer many options to you, the customer.  We appreciate that our pieces are going into your home and you require your own flare in the design.  Choices in profile, hardware and stain are made by you and this makes most of our pieces unique.

 

Our staff consists of Cabinetmakers, Finishers and General Woodworkers.  Their skill and pride which they take in their work shows in every piece of fine furniture they make.

 

Located a short drive from the nation's capital we believe that we are worth the drive for you to make.  On a continual basis, we are adding to our current "standard" pieces on the showroom floor and feel that we have a product worth bragging about.

 

We know that all of these ingredients are necessary if you are going to make a fine, long-lasting, beautiful piece of furniture.
